Those who have seen her on stage have described Ruth’s voice as “captivating” and “powerful.” The now veteran performer has honed her skills—and considerable natural talent—in multiple genres. Ruth excels in musical theatre, big band, rock, pop, blues—and her passion, Jazz.

Sharing the stage with the legendary band Prism, Dr Hook, and Sheena Easton, seasoned performer Ruth Blais has entertained throughout Canada. She continues to perform a tribute to icon Stevie Nicks, corporate party bands and entertain audiences in the silky jazz and pop duo, Blaze‘n Day. 

 

Over her busy career of performing and instruction, Ruth has also contributed her talents to a variety of radio, television, as well as numerous album recordings. 

 

Whether its performing to a stadium or entertaining a small and intimate group, Ruth Blais loves connecting with the audience.
